Autumn Internationals clubhouse bar open

You will be pleased to hear that the bar will be open for the Welsh rugby autumn internationals. Work up a thirst by playing some tennis first, and then enjoy the match with a well earned tipple! Our thanks once again to Mags for running the bar - I know she would very much appreciate some help serving behind the bar to enable the club to keep the turnover ticking along as it should.

What a Saturday that was....

Last Saturday, close on 100 members enjoyed a fabulous day of tennis finals, teas, a drink or two, and a party. It was great to see so many from across the whole club benefitting from the superb efforts from an army of volunteers. I include in that army those responsible for the upkeep of the courts, grounds and clubhouse, the tournament organisers, the umpires, the tea team, the bar manager and helpers, the Race Night organisers, and those that cleared up - days like that don’t happen without volunteers.

The  Saturday teas have been a valued tradition at Radyr since well before my time, and it would be good to see them well supported for the rest of the season.
